Is a really neat DRPG I just played a demo for. Has some obvious Wizardry influence, but it's really it's own beast. Somehow the whole game is designed to switch from first person to tableau perspectives, and there's lots of fun little cutaways to your party when you pause to check your gear, or talk to someone. It's a neat effect that adds something sublime to the DRPG formula.

The graphics are simple, cute, but endearing in a way Etrian Odyssey never quite managed for me. I think the music is nice, for being pretty limited (at least in the demo.) I'm interested in the full version, and I recommend dungeon crawling nerds look at this game, because it's got some interesting ideas that seem to work.

The combat is challenging, but not punishing. It's about making the action economy and your stamina outlast the opponents, but there's no penalty for fleeing, or taking damage. Everything but spellcasting points recharges between combats, and while I never saw a full party kill (because running is a good choice) I don't THINK there's any permanent death? I could be wrong.

The game lets you see and decide when to engage with any monsters, and the dungeons are well designed around that concept. Only drawback to it is the monsters don't move and always spawn in the same place. You can either open shortcuts to bypass old challenges, or take new party members grinding through them. Necessary, but not the most fun encounter system to work with. And you do need to grind levels. I'm sure in the full game, the depth of roster rotation and character builds would require a lot of it.
