I know I'm pretty glib about things, but this whole ordeal is really doing a number on my anxieties and fears. I can't do a damn thing to help anybody, but there's a lot of people in Maine who just had their lives torn apart, and I wasn't kidding about Biden not paying for the funeral expenses.
If you have anything to offer, or anything to give, these folks need your help. A friend of a friend has collected all the known donation links for families of the victims.
I don't want to go through the reasons why they didn't deserve this, and do deserve help. I know you're good people and you don't need to be convinced. If you can, I'd also suggest donating to Disability Rights Maine. They run our deaf advocacy and service assistance programs. Our local deaf community has been hit particularly hard by this act of pointless terror.
