Likes to Write Music

My original music

I wanted to share some thoughts on the new album I'm working on. I have written 10 tracks (so far?). I could release it as it is, but I wouldn't know what to call it. The plan is to write at least 5 more tracks, and call it "Spectrum III".

The Spectrum series is known for being longer than the usual 10-track albums. Spectrum is 23 tracks, and Spectrum II is 20 tracks. I figure at least 15 is a good length. My most recent song "Fantastic Journey" is my 983rd song.

I'm trying to make each song stand out on their own, covering a spectrum of genres/moods.

I'm mostly just typing to type. Looking at the numbers (the unusual youtube inflation views seems to have died down thankfully), not many people are interested in my music. I can probably count on one hand the amount of people actively interested in the music I write.

It is what it is, and I think it's either because I write too many genres, or perhaps I'm niche? Is that the word? Maybe I just write so much music that it's hard to keep up. I'll probably slow down a bit after I hit 1,000 songs.

I guess I want to do something special for my 1,000th song if I make it that far. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. If you listen to it, I hope you enjoy it. If not, then at this point nothing I say, do, or write will mean anything.

I write music so fast and frequent, that some songs manage to sneak by me. Meaning that I listen to it later like "when did I write this?" :P I have been writing music for a long time with little to no fanfare. While it does bother me, the act of writing music is such a great feeling that I don't think I could intentionally give it up.
