I used to goof off on the piano a lot when I was younger. Back in 2006, I started recording these live performances. I've been listening to them, trying to find inspiration for future music, and this one really stood out to me. The entire thing is just crazy good. This was recorded before my first album even. It's almost 21 minutes long, but the whole thing is just wonderful.

Pretty much entirely improvised, this particular journal. To the point where none of it was planned, just going with the flow of the notes I play.
I've always wanted to do this but never had access to a proper piano to give it a try on my own. It's dumb but if I were to spend time with a piano I'd want to do it privately. Probably because it would sound terrible and also because I wouldn't want anyone's opinion on it even if it sounded good.
It took me over 12 years to work up the nerve to be able to perform live piano improvisation (even through a recording). I used headphones on all my keyboards and was very secretive about it. Also I've only ever used a real piano once at a friend's house. These journals use either a full size 88-key piano keyboard, or a 61-key synthesizer.
I don't know if I could play in front of an audience, like on twitch or something.
