This is my 3rd week of working out with the 20lb dumbbell (all I got) doing different exercises for different muscles 3 days a week. I guess muscle memory kicked in and I feel pretty strong. I mean not super strong, but I find it easier to carry things. A friend and I recently started doing daily pushups as well (I have to do the kind where you bend the knees but lift and cross the legs).

I need to clean the area around my exercise bike so I can work out my legs. But I'm feeling pretty positive.

Heh, that's my only reference for the term beefcake and it always makes me chuckle, it's not meant to make fun of your initiative.

It's actually pretty great to hear you're deciding to go for a healthy routine and stuff. Keep it up !

That's actually the reference I was making :) I wish I could eat healthier but it's too expensive. At least I can toss around the weight and do other exercises to get stronger, to hopefully be able to do more things. I was in really bad shape.

I wanna grab myself an exercise bike next year. One of those models where you stay kind of laying down instead of sitting up, so it is easier to play games while exercising :p
