My situation with the computer reminds me of a certain movie, where a character, trying to prevent something bad from happening, does something that leads to the bad thing happening. I unplugged my pc from the power to prevent a potential surge during a thunderstorm, and my power supply is most likely the problem.
It’s a prebuilt pc from ibuypower, so I don’t have faith in the components. It was probably waiting to happen. I had issues with the water cooler, so my friend replaced it with a cool tower cooler. I just really hope replacing the power supply fixes the issue. I can’t afford a new pc.
