my only addendum to this is that i love and constantly desire friendly competition, where people bounce off each other in order to motivate each other to be better, in a scenario where "being better" than someone is a temporary state that fluctuates between people.
it's the "this is MY space, not yours" competition that i don't really care for, which is obviously what this image refers to. but i also don't want people to forget that competition can actually be a beautiful thing between parties that truly desire to compete with each other in a way that benefits each other and everyone around them.
