Hey, because these are fun: What's your Bossfight Theme Music, and what genre game is it?

I'd be the friend-turned-foe in a mecha game/air combat game- I'm the boss you REALLY don't want to have to fight, but circumstances have placed us on different paths, and now only one may continue on.

Even if you defeat me, I won't hold it against you... buddy.

Mine would be some passage guardian, fantasy, darksouls-esc (Maybe Nioh-adjacent, because I've been bit by that bug recently). Lore upon lore of my existence and my role in this world you find yourself in, with more lore discovered beyond the point that I guard.

But I digress, the battle is one where you have to show me your strength, I perhaps even goad you on, and upon my defeat I grant you a final boon to enhance your proven abilities further.

And you can BET your ass the style will be Kingfield retro style art.

I'd probably be a theme from a fighting game. either a joke character or the final boss depending on how i feel that day. probably something from The King Of Fighters because i will take literally any opportunity to talk about it

i'd be the villain's second in command in a whimsical and lighthearted platformer who seemingly has a moral crisis near the end of the second act and switches to your side to help out in the final level. we actually manage to make it to the Evil Artifact just as the villain does, defeating them in a battle paralleling a scripted loss one that happened in the first level, thereby allowing us to keep the artifact away from them and stop them from Taking Over The World™.
the day is saved, all seems well... but then i pull a double betrayal and take the artifact for myself! cue Vs. Metal Sonic from sonic robo blast 2 (https://youtu.be/MKI0QMYJqxk?si=OghJ0671nZxWN4X0)!
after a long and arduous battle, i fall to the ground, defeated. or at least i would be, but Oops! the artifact still wants you dead, and if i won't do it then it'll just use my body to finish you off itself. time to get abruptly dark with it! the weird pocket dimension i brought you to for phase 1 suddenly turns blood red, hyper zone 2 from kirby's dream land 3 (https://youtu.be/4lMdJPTiZo4?si=1Nq0NGydi1u4rwaF) starts playing, spider legs and wings and such start sprouting from places neither of those things should be sprouting from, and by the end of it, all that can be said for certain is that the esrb rating has been significantly raised and everything is exploding
