I'd be the friend-turned-foe in a mecha game/air combat game- I'm the boss you REALLY don't want to have to fight, but circumstances have placed us on different paths, and now only one may continue on.

I'm in like a more fast paced third person action game - think devil may cry, bayonetta, the star wars Jedi games, etc - and my vibe is that of one of those persistent rivals who aren't super committed to actually stopping the player, but is instead really excited by the idea of just having a good scrap. The horny for fighting kinda rival, but totally up for teaming up to stop the big bad (because if the world ends, that means I can't fight ya again!)
Bonus: a friendlier and more lighthearted vibe. Maybe for a post game fight or other such rematch where it's more clearly established that I'm not a threat, just a dork.
... i've thought way too much about my boss mechanics its my most self indulgent thought experiment. i've flirted with my girlfriends by, describing to them how we'd each fight as a tag team pair boss fight (i'm usually either the support sniper or the in-your-face unbalancing offense depending on the smoochable creature in question)
