sadly yeah. as a furry, its really scary (not like oh my god call the police scary just uneasy) to be around other furries because (sometimes) they will make loud noises- like barking and etc. those sounds really trigger me and i would prefer if they asked if i was triggered/uncomfortable with those noises before doing them. they can also get pretty touchy, which i dont like. but, thats just my overall experience with other furries. not all are like that, but its still kinda hard not to encounter a furry that isnt respectful of personal boundaries and triggers.
