Gently puts the yinglet back, grabs her new book that resides right beside.

Our lovely lady, kitsune, @Kuviare took us too the bookman bookstore, a beautiful place, a litany of extraordinary literature lining the rows of shelves~. And atop on of them, a series known as the Gothic Fantasy~.

Many a cover caught my curious eye, but alas, we do not have the funds to buy them all~.

So I settled upon a silver lined copy of Algernon Blackwoods' horror stories, an auspicious author whom has held my attention for quite some time~.

Plans to read this tonight, undoubtedly I will enjoy it thoroughly~

i am a huge fan of zhe discworld, but for a slightly less "everyone knows already" answer i would have to say Ascension by nicholas binge - it's an account of a scientific expedition up a gigantic mountain zhat appears in zhe center of zhe pacific ocean one day and it is FASCINATING

🐺Rhf! The Mistborn Saga! By Brandon Sanderson. Brandon has made NUMEROUS books with absolutely unique and fascinating magic systems. But the Mistborn Saga takes the cake for me.

The first three introduces the concepts of Allomancy and Feruchemy, the former involves the ingestion of unique metals/alloys to grant unique magical powers, while the latter involves the storing of physical or mental capabilities in 'metal minds', also consisting of the same metals and alloys used in allomancy. The inital books focus on a corrupt empire ruled by the 'Lord Ruler' and god among men, and an unlikely woman who is collected by a band of common day thieves.

There are 6 books total, with a 7th that preludes 4, 5, 6 which takes place 300 years after 1, 2, and 3. But should be read after reading 4, 5, and 6 for spoiler reasons.

I HIGHLY rec commend getting the books, and both the first trilogy and second trilogy are on audible. I know that for certain. I do not know if the 7th, prelude story is as well.
