Soooo last night I was chatting with someone on Discord and somehow the subject of Gaia Online came up. Maaaaany years ago (like '04 to '08) I was active on there. In fact, I was one of the original members of, and eventually a mod for, one of the first and largest furry guilds on the site, the AFG. (Formerly the Adult Furries Guild, apparently at some point renamed to Absolute Furry the Guild.) On a whim, I went to see if my old account still worked; half expected it to be deleted or have gotten hacked at some point. Much to my surprise, it still works, unchanged! I had to re-verify it because it'd been so long, but my stuff's still there and everything.

Decided to go back and peek in on the AFG. Still exists, though like apparently Gaia in general, it's pretty quiet these days. A bunch of old threads were preserved though, including some I ran way back when. Including the Quotes thread for silly things members said at different times. Seeing some old names kinda hit me in the feels a bit. Wonder what everyone's up to these days. Dar, Doomie/Sonya, Blazey, Skuger, Grynners, Garek, Affy (Claire now I think? unless I'm thinking of someone else. apologies, memory is hazy), Eddily, Shoki, Shady, Ara, Dracos, Manda... hope you're all doing well, wherever you guys are and whatever you're up to. (Apologies for using old names, but that's what I knew ya by back then and can't be sure what you use nowdays.) At least I spoke to Core/Exvarn recently!
