I even bought a collection or two. Lord knows office culture deserves to be mocked relentlessly, and Scott Adams was willing to do it once a day, 365 days a year.
His bread and butter was showing how office life was degrading, dehumanizing, and demoralizing. Those in power were depicted as idiotic petty tyrants who rose to the top by nepotism or luck rather than merit. The tasks they assigned to the workers were generally useless busywork that led to making their products worse.
In short, it was a strip about the alienation caused by living as a worker in a capitalist society.
So I honestly sincerely regret that the man turned out to be a deranged reactionary.
