Tex Shura, by far my favorite. I have the mental disorder that makes me obsessed with wireless mechanical boards that feature built-in pointing devices and so far this is the nicest one to use. it honestly shits all over its far more expensive cousin, the HHKB Studio. Look at that red aluminum! It looks great in person and feels so nice to touch.
EQUALZ Banana switches just because i wanted to try something other than oil kings and don't want to bother lubing them myself... The sound is a little hollow so I'm probably going to tape + foam mod, and the board supports swapping out the backspace into 2 separate keys which will restore the tilde key i can't really live without so i might as well do that too while i'm in there

in reply to @meadow's post:

Options arenโ€™t great if youโ€™re specifically looking for mechanical boards, there are plenty of membrane ones with trackpads that are okay but tend to be extremely flimsy and generally unpleasant to use.
Going back to mechanicals, one half-measure I was looking into for a while is using keyboards with customizable firmware like QMK or VIA which allow binding mouse functions to keys. There are dozens if not hundreds of options there which is cool, but it doesnโ€™t compare to having a nice trackpad or track point.
Apart from the TEX boards, the only other mech board with a pointing device Iโ€™m aware of is the HHKB Studio I mentioned in my post. Itโ€™s a pretty good board with good build quality and lots of features, but super over priced and the track point functionality just isnโ€™t quite as good as it is on a TEX or regular old Thinkpad.
So really there arenโ€™t a ton of options out there if youโ€™re looking for a sweet-spot wireless mechanical board with a pointing device. From my research, the TEX is as good as it gets.

thank you very much for indulging my question!! ๐Ÿ™
iโ€™m not that attached to using a mechanical if the membrane options were cool, but if theyโ€™re all flimsy thatโ€™s a bummer. does that include the stand alone thinkpad keyboards?
itโ€™s a shame the actual pointing device in the HHKB isnโ€™t as good despite being so much more expensive! on the other hand iโ€™m not going to complain about the nicest option being cheaper!
i look forward to hearing how the foam/tape mod improves your experience with the TEX!
