It's very funny to me that, growing up, popular media taught me that getting into monogamous relationships is easy and boring, but having a threesome was the white whale that everyone is striving towards but can never actually accomplish.
And now, here I am, 31 years old. And I can think of about 10 people off the top of my head who would 100% have a threesome (or more) with me if I asked, but actually getting a relationship off the ground has proven a nearly impossible task.
