I'm fine and there's no need to worry, but there was quite a lot of blood and gross stuff and it freaked me the fuck out.

Yeah, even with full knowledge and the help of, like, medical professionals to assure you it's still spooky to actually experience something like that. Definitely not bad to be a bit freaked out either.
