So I'm like. 80% of the way decided to just quit my job to give myself more time to rest and recover.
But that kind of raises additional questions and big concerns.
See, I'm a college dropout (University dropout, for my foreign friends). I competed a trade course in programming and I do pretty well at it, but I don't actually have a degree. Which makes it hard to get a job, because a lot of places won't even interview me.
So, the question then asserts itself: If I'm going to quit my job anyway, would that be a good time to try and get a degree? Or should I try my luck with finding the next place that'll hire me and hoping it's not worse than my current job? CAN I go back to get a degree?? I dropped out the first time because I hated academia, but have years in the business world made me more capable of dealing with its bullshit????
And if I go back and get a degree, then I start asking myself a whole host of questions about what kind of degree I wanna get (2 year? 4 year? Probably not a graduate degree.). And if I'm doing THAT, could I leverage a study visa into a ticket out of my current hell country?
