Recently we released our second game, Torecower. As a tower-defense game where you use towers to protect your core, the name was some sort of spoonerism of these words (SPOILER: it has been pretty bad for discoverability so far!)

As I said in another post, I never had a commercial release of mine, but as being the "owner" of Softwool and after the initial release a core contributor on its code regarding new features, polishing and some rewrites for the latest update, I really feel something this time. All of us agree that the game got to a whole new level after the update. It's not much, actually, it's just that the initial release was a bit premature while the update made it look like the actual initial complete game version.

We're still expanding on it a bit while I also design some stuff for our next game, since we decided to work as a small studio instead of individual projects in parallel.

But participating more on the game design of it as well as the hands on of actually coding (leaderboards, talents effects and more) really made me feel that I am actual part of it, and it was so great when I first played it on my steam deck (be warned, it's not optimized to it! but works pretty ok). So I know that I said that I'm not making my dream game, I learned to really love this latest one, and I hope to feel the same for the next, which I showed in one of the previous posts.

Since I ended "The Making of Prince of Persia 30th Edition", I also started some kind of diary, but I really want to share some small thoughts and notes from the things I've been working, so after some months of even years I can go back to it and see this from other lens, as it was done with the book. So, I guess that's it.
