i think a lot of people don't realize they want social media with fewer dopamine release valves until they experience it. i'm with you, i'm starving for community.
you know, when i saw twitter was down today i just kind of instinctively stood up and cleaned my apartment to occupy my time, if twitter imploded this might just be a whole new era of doing things. and not taking my friendships for granted.
Austin you're a good puppy and I'm right there with you. As much as I enjoy interacting with people, and Twitter has provided that in spades, I can't justify using it anymore.
With Twitter becoming unusable, more people will realize they have many many more tools to interact with people. This might finally be the push we needed ^^
I agree with all of this. I just wanted a place to easily keep up with friends and talk with them, listen, be there for them, but it's kinda impossible with that app now. It's probably time for change, it's just difficult to figure out what to do next
It'll be an adjustment for everyone for sure, but with your goals in mind, I think it's a worthwhile endeavour <3

I'm with you there. Honestly, I mostly use Twitter these days mostly for looking at and promoting artwork that I like. If it ends up going down, I'll really only have Telegram for close friends and probably this site at this point.
I feel promoting artwork was the last thing Twitter was best for, I shutter to think what artists will have to do now, but I think needing multiple sites for different things again won't be so bad. Hopefully...
