i think the thing i dislike most about the prospect of everyone doing the cha cha slide over to bluesky is that it's unimaginative. i wish everyone was as eager as the average cohost user to think about how their online experience could be restructured. it actually makes me want to separate my meat from my bones seeing friends openly declare that "no mobile app" is more of a dealbreaker than bitcoin goblins feeding 100% of their output to large language models and stable diffusion algorithms.

exactly!! i love cohost because it's Not Twitter. twitter was such a massive brainworm for me that I do not want to stay on any site that is trying to be "the next twitter". total red flag
it's not even that you can't use cohost on mobile, it's just... not on app stores.
Yeah watching people jump on bluesky is like... cool, great, another twitter with all of the exact same problems as the current one, just with a 5 year lag time or something.
