What’s your thoughts on the all-out scramble of various companies to become the next Twitter?
I’m enjoying Cohost being something entirely different, personally.
Deeply embarrassing. I don't think anyone is going to win this dick measuring contest, and if they do, it will be just as temporary. I don't believe in "New Twitter". At least not for this community. Either Twitter will survive or people are going to have to reimagine how they budget their online presence. Many of us are already doing the latter.
For what it's worth, I don't think mastodon is vying to be the new Twitter so much (but you still cannot convince me to go back there)
