You see, I want to do this but there's nothing more anxiety-inducing than imagining a negative reception from them, especially if they don't want other people drawing their characters (and haven't made that fact publicly clear)
Like, do I really know them well enough to draw a theme I'm confident they'll enjoy?
It's a lot easier if the person you're drawing for is a friend. At that point you can kinda guess what they like and don't like
So what you're saying is I should draw my friends more often? I can handle that at least!
It's the acquaintances whose characters I adore that get me all tripped up on permission but eh whatever
