My favourite fictional setting which barely exists at all is high fantasy cyberpunk. I'm talking cities separated by long stretches of wilderness due to monsters and dragons, but those same cities filled with neon and dance clubs. There are dragons roaming outside city boarders protected by tech infused with wizard wards. Goblins and kobolds walk amongst humans and elves, some sporting robotic limbs and synthetic organs.
I just love the idea of mixing science and the supernatural and all I have to eat is "modern Earth but monsters real". Gimme DnD with laser swords pls
