One thing I've noticed about browsing Cohost is that the lack of visible metrics (Follows/Likes/Shares/etc) makes me feel more inclined to leave comments on peoples' stuff. Does anyone else feel that way? It's wild just how foreign it feels to have a social media website encourage actual social behavior instead of high-score chasing, but I'm definitely digging it

Honestly, it's usually just not having anything meaningful to say that prevents me from leaving comments on stuff, regardless of visible metrics.
It is definitely is a breath of fresh air in some sense, but I can imagine it would be frustrating for some in the off chance this site did take off. The only thing I want in this site as of now, is the ability to send private messages
