The thing about the Israeli political mainstream is that they've spent so long characterizing very mild criticism as murderous antisemitism that now they really don't believe the US is on their side. They have no clue how much they have to lose.

Seems like on one hand there’s plenty of American psychotic adventurists who would love to jump into a war with Iran with both feet but on the other hand none of them would want Biden to get credit for it.
funny how none of them want to go grab a gun and be shot at on the front lines, but they sure act like they want it, as long as someone else is dying
to be fair, the last 30 years of american-israel relations has given israel no reason to think that any of them are doing anything but posturing. don't know what the line is or if there even is one, but when/if they finally cross it the immediate response wont be immediately discernible from any of the other faux-outrage american politicians sometimes put on for the voters
