Although it is unknown exactly where the portal links to, the massive flood of plasma coming out likely originates from a nearby star as it would not make sense to store and pressurise the amount of plasma seen coming out of the portal.

This ship contains no weapons other than it's shield, which constantly leaks ionising radiation and plasma into the surrounding environment.
Although most hulls are great at blocking radiation, the plasma is particularly effective at eating through the hull, allowing the radiation (and plasma) to seep in.
Most shields should be able to protect the ship's hull from the plasma.

A simple ship with an advanced scanner, it does not possess any weapons.
However it is covered in tiny radio beacons set to go off if the ship takes sufficient damage, making it almost impossible to destroy without drawing attention.

One of the fastest ships ever made, it's almost impossible to scan at it's top speed allowing it to easily scout out areas without being detected.
