I'm an amateur illustrator who'd like to someday do that whole "art" thing for a living. In the meantime, I'm hyperfixated on Monster Hunter, Mega Man, polearms, and probably several other things. Also aspiring to become an IRL amalgamation of leading ladies from Professor Layton games (officially girlpilled since 3/25/2023!!).

The Resistance emblem from Mega Man Zero in the colors of the trans pride flag.

"Lives with plenty of food and comfort... People have stopped bothering to think with their heads... There may still be some people who want to do something. If we could somehow let those kinds of people know what Dr. Weil is really thinking... We might be able to change Neo Arcadia."  -Ciel, Mega Man Zero 3

Edit: Now available!

A while ago I downloaded Blender and some plugins for importing and exporting RE engine .mesh files in a botched attempt at removing the bevor from the type 1 MR Rathian helmets (turns out that breaks the rigging if you do it wrong! whoops!), but now that I've been doing a lot more armor swaps of type 1 armor pieces onto type 2 sets so I can use them, I decided to give it another shot with something a little less ambitious: chopping off parts of the Skalda and Aelucanth sets that were bothering me! And it wound up being pretty piss-easy, honestly I put more effort into remembering how to use Blender and how to properly export the models back into .mesh format than I did actually deleting the vertices.

To be honest, the tail on the Skalda Elytra didn't actually bother me that much, but I disliked it enough that I figured I might as well. If nothing else it opens up the waist for use in mixed sets that aren't scorpion-themed, so that's a plus in my book.
The weird feeler-leg-antenna things on the back of the Aelucanth Thorax, though, I was very much not a fan of. Even setting aside that they were a little too "creepy-crawly" for my taste, they were also super obtrusive and really made it impossible to use what's otherwise a super badass piece of armor for anything other than an arthropod-themed outfit. conveniently, the textures on the armor look perfectly fine where the feeler-thingies used to be, so I don't even need to learn how to edit textures or anything. Neat! :host-joy:

I need to get some sleep before I upload the actual modded files anywhere, but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out, especially the Aelucanth one! The MH Rise modding wiki was pretty useful for this and other modding mini-projects I've done, and thankfully none of it is consigned to a fucking Discord server :host-evil:
