In honor of TDoV, figured I might as well make myself visible (well, audible; there's no camera) and indulge my renewed obsession with Mega Man Zero by playing MMZ1! I'm planning to marathon the whole series (plus finally beating ZX and ZXA), but we'll kick up those walls when we get to them.

Stream went pretty well! Even had some people turn up, which was nice ❤️
Turns out the game is, in fact, still pretty fucking difficult, though I think I have a better attitude about failing than I did in my teens. The benefits of being a 25 year old woman instead of a 14-15-year old boy, I guess 😏 (Though honestly I think most of that emotional development was spurred by Monster Hunter, considering how mad I used to get at monsters like Kushala Daora, and it's also worth noting that I was still doing a bit better than I did as a teen even with streaming-induced poobrain) This stream did, however, make me acutely aware of the fact that I make Rodney Dangerfield noises when under duress, which is... one hell of a realization to have.
