I'd say for the most part I like LX a bit better? There are some aspects of plain L's helm I like a little more, and the extra gold trim is neat, but it's really hard to argue with that fancier halberd design, and in general I tend to prefer the Model X double merges' legs, what with the knee guards and MMZ-era Zero-esque thigh projections. I'm a bit ambivalent on the head fin/jet thing between the two; L's single one looks neat, but LX's pair is closer to Leviathan's helm (but without the thing where it comes from the fringe of her "bobcut", instead just projecting from the sides).
You didn't ask, but of the others, I think I prefer HX, F (though FX is close behind), and PX (sorry Siarnaq, but P's beak is a bit too pointy for my tastes). I genuinely don't think I can choose between Z and ZX because Z's visor and saber are really cool, but ZX's saber-pistol hybrid is kind of a stroke of genius, especially with the buster pistol's trigger guard essentially acting as a finger ring in Z-saber mode (hi hello I'm an arms and armor nerd can you tell), and it still has the advantage of the double megamerge leg armor.
