nintendo showing off the mario rpg remake music comparisons between original & orchestrated reminds me of the time i did a 'remake' of the forest maze theme using my samples at the time, for funsies. this was like 2008, so i think i was using east west orchestral gold samples & an absolute pea soup of reverb lol
i think the 'official' remake is a pretty valiant effort!! both the original & orchestrated versions sound great in context, just a matter of what you're feelin i think.
