my theme from Saltsea Chronicles' title sequence features performances from @mwgewehr (drum arranging, bass), @tv-ma (flute), and Tyler Mire (trumpet), and it wouldn't be half of what it sounds like without the support, advice and contributions made by them!
while the game's score itself is quite different and more hybrid in terms of instrumental and thematic things........i was just allowed to go ham here with things solidly in my comfort zone, which is more prog/jazz rock/fusion. The game's creative leads enabled me to take leaves from artists such as DOMi & JD Beck, Chick Corea and Yoko Kanno (someone mentioned Thundercat too and I'll take it!), and letting me write in (mostly) 5/4
also just generally hope this title sequence doubles up well as a pitch for me composing for an animated television show someday
