KAZe, the greatest video game pinball company ever, creator of AKIRA PSYCHOBALL and NECRONOMICON, made their last game in 2006

it's Shin Megami Tensei Pinball: Judgement and was only released in japan on mobile phones

i'm so curious about it becuase KAZe did such awesome, weird stuff and yet i cannot even find video of this game online. i can't find ANYTHING about it. if i could scour the japanese web i could maybe find something, but for now i am lost

IMO tweet at G-Mode and tell them you want to see it in G-Mode Archives. They’ve already ported a bunch of mobile SMT games to modern systems, it’s not out of the question they’d do that one too.

(Also, don’t know if you’ve seen it, but there was one more Digital Pinball game after that - an Ultraman game for iOS, by BeXide, which was founded by several ex-Kaze people)

One of the artists on all the Digital Pinball games had moved over to BeXide; guess it explains having that exact look!

One of the things I love about G-Mode Archives is how much it shows that a bunch of these old phone games aren't lost media - the fact they've been able to get source code / materials for dozens of them really helps show so many of studios actually kept good internal archives of this stuff. (Or maybe they've been raiding old phones? But I don't think they'd have been able to keep up this pace if they had to resort to that.)
