Another sports touchstone on Nintendo 64 is Eikō no Saint Andrews. This Japan-only release, which refers to the "Old Course" in Scotland, was the first golf game on the console, pre-dating the much more popular Mario Golf by three full years. Aside from featuring real golfers and offering some customization, however, this game is pretty bone dry. You can definitely play golf with it, which you couldn't do before!
This isn't even the only golf game that uses the Scottish license, as another St. Andrews also exists on Super Nintendo.
- This has a pretty decent soundtrack from Suguru Ishida (Tuff E Nuff, Hammerlock Wrestling)
- There's a PS1 port of this with added FMV clips
