Warp & Kenji Eno's "interactive sound drama" Real Sound ~Kaze no Regret~, originally released for Sega Saturn in '97 & ported to Dreamcast in '99, has just been reissued by From Yellow to Orange—not on game storefronts, but in audiobook form; ¥2000

for the unaware, Kaze no Regret was known not just for its all-star voice cast, screenplay by acclaimed author Yuji Sakamoto & music by MOTHER 1+2 co-composer Keiichi Suzuki but for being designed entirely without visuals, as a gesture to the vision-impaired. Here's a screenshot from the Saturn version:

(the Dreamcast version included a "visual mode" with some basic still images)

Warp produced game manuals in braille that they'd mail to players upon request, and Eno pledged exclusivity to Sega on the condition that they donate 1k Saturns to the blind community; even 10+yrs on, Eno was steadfast in respecting that commitment to Sega exclusivity, hence the lack of future ports... but it's been long enough that I can't imagine anyone's going to be too aggrieved by today's reissue. (Sega's still credited on this reissue, so it's not like FYTO went behind their backs, either.)
