This is my submission to Compost #5!
I made this song in 1 hour!
Officially, the time limit is 1 or 2 hours, but i decided i would limit myself to 1 hour only

Please keep in mind that this song is made with a limited time, so i didn't have time to add everything i wanted to add, for example, it can sound a little empty at parts, and i wanted to add a lot more things, like background arpeggio's, more countermelodies, more instrument variety, and better mixing/mastering, but i wanted to respect the time limit, so that's why i decided to keep it as is

Because the prompt was about a necromancer eggbug turning eggbug plushies turning into zombies, i wanted the song to have a bit of a mix of spooky graveyard vibes with a bit of cuteness (but i might have accidentally made it a little bit too majestic, but i still think it's a nice balance between the two, given the time limitations and all), naturally, it is a battle theme of course (but oops, since i couldn't find fitting trumpets in time i added some old but reliable Touhou flair to it)

I made this song live on stream! If you would like to watch the VOD to see how i made it, you can check it out bellow!

This was a really nice listen! I like the energy of this song a lot, and the melody is quite catchy. I'll have to check the VOD out, interested to see someone else's flow for OHCs.

this makes me want to play a Ys game! good area theme for running around killin' enemies with Sword and Magicks. amazing energy and arrangement, love it. i like the doubling of the harpsichord with the portamento sine synth
