Ran into another chiptune sitting on my drive that doesn't seem to be available anywhere online, so here it is for you cohost. This is Maak's life goes on (fx beats mix), a chiptune take on a Beatmania 3rd song using the FMP/PMD driver for the PC-98's sound chip. Atypical sound for him but really nice, very mysterious vibe.
The original source file should be in one of the FMP/PMD archives online, let me know if you want it but can't find it.
ok this is a huge kind-of-unrelated shot in the dark but if you've got chiptunes sitting around that aren't available anywhere online, is there any chance you have "imagination" or "the fire" by 12insomnia? when 8bitcollective went down, a bunch of 12insomnia's music disappeared—for years i've only been able to find "the fire" as a low quality youtube upload, and "imagination" has disappeared completely. i would give anything for a total download of 12insomnia's 8bitcollective uploads, if you by any chance have archived some subset of that site!!
