"In the performing arts, we talk about how the moment in which you make an action will never come again. Sometimes you open a play, you accidentally do something the first night and get a big response from the audience. Your impulse is to do it again, but it just doesn't get the same response the next night. You realize that what was important is not the specific action itself, but the energy of that action, which is that you as a performer were present in that moment."
