today i released a piano composition i produced for a short film in 2020 which addressed the subject of discrimination against gender nonconformity.
the piece is called "erasures." i recently watched the beautiful film i saw the TV glow, and its story has had the the subject of trans grief heavy on my heart, especially as we approach another election in the US. i was reminded of this piece, and felt it was the right time to polish and remaster it for its own publication.
"erasures" is dedicated with love to those of us lost to history, those of us still waiting to come out, and those of us who never had the chance to do so. you are seen, remembered, and loved.
