I adore Tangram Games' Tobu Tobu Girl, a homebrew GameBoy game that released back in 2017. If this is the first you're hearing of it, it's a bit like Nintendo's Balloon Kid if the screen were turned 90 degrees.
At any rate, it's one of my all-time favorite GameBoy games -- no joke! Which is why I included Tobu Tobu Girl 2 in my new blog post about 13 games I hope are announced this year.
Sadly, my hopes are likely to remain unfulfilled, as the duo responsible for Tobu Tobu Girl told me a few years back that a sequel is unlikely. Oh, well, a guy can dream.
