No crossfade mix for this one, because it's on bandcamp and you can just listen to it there (or here, up in that embed)!
Also the game's real cheap on Steam, sale or no!
I don't have much to say about this one, except that I will personally never tire of well-made 2A03. It's not as progressive as, say, Inti Creates' last couple retro-styled games like Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 or Blaster Master Zero 3, but maybe not everything needs to be a dense layering of expansion chips.
as a CD and 7" LP (or combo package) in September from CASSETRON, an imprint of Disk Union. I knew the game was at least a minor phenomenon in the Japanese gaming scene, but this is still kind of surprising!

CASSETRON specializes in retro soundtrack reissues and deep pull oddities, like Gourmet Sentai Barayarou (aka Gourmet Warriors) and Michiko Naruke's soundtrack for Telenet's Psycho Dream. They also put out soundtracks for the original arcade Street Fighter and various SF2 home console ports, bypassing Capcom's own Suleputer label for some reason. They've spent the last year reissuing various Data East arcade and console port soundtracks, and had just previously announced a large Hiryū no Ken boxset to kick off a series of Culture Brain soundtrack releases. Discounting the Windjammers 2 tracks on their Flying Power Disc 1+2 album, this would be CASSETRON's first exclusively 21st century soundtrack.
