For posts to this tag, I try to use youtube uploads if they're available. Partly for my convenience and partly because I know youtube is basically winamp/foobar for some people. I self-host my embeds when the track I want to share isn't available on youtube, and I'll do them as mp4s to have a good way to display album art. (that, and I had a slick ffmpeg one-liner to do all the conversion and muxing)
I don't think the audio uploads can display ID3-tagged art, but at least the way it is now, I can do a JPG/MP3 combo without it looking like crap.
