Through 20+ years of iterative sequels, the main music of the series has settled into a routine of serviceable, well-executed, short-loop verse-solo rock tunes. And while they're great (DW9's OST is certified 'no skips'), they're a far cry from the relatively sprawling progressive grunge/djent tracks of 2003's Dynasty Warriors 4.
