At one point in time, in another world, Shura Kuroyanagi was once a fair and just soul. But an encounter with a being of darkness changed her over time - succumbing to the creature's carnal desires, she abandoned all trace of herself, giving her very body to the Darkness. If there's anything left of Shura beneath the being now known as Ayame Kuroyanagi, she is lost to the euphoria of pure strength, her desire to help others corrupted into a vain desire to "save" the world.
