seeing as the genie's out of the bottle, I kinda wanna make a co-operative (or at least semico-operative) take on it, transformations are for the large part avoidable and you can just kinda carry on as usual about the lab with your human colleagues. some transformations might give you beneficial side effects useful for lab work

but also you can prank your colleagues by leaving tf hazards about... or in their coffee :3c
