yeah as much as I hate to admit it, cohost feels really empty. part of that is definitely me. part of it is that the people im already friends with and people whose art I enjoy dont want to move here. and part of it probably comes down to the website design making all of these things feel so much emptier

i definitely feel that tbh. like i love a lot about this site, like i love the lack of metrics cause it feels healthier but having like 2x more followers than i have on my locked twitter and like only occasionally getting 1-2 interactions on a post makes me feel like i’m just straight up talking into a void on here a lot
i also just like, almost feel like i have to mask when i’m on unlocked accounts so that doesn’t help that feeling either tbh
i wouldn’t say draining. inconvenient yeah but it mostly just leads to me being more open on locked stuff and just not being a very public facing person on the internet which is probs healthier anyway
