I'm originally from a stone's throw from a national forest, and abandoned my home-woods for professional opportunity back when working from home was a pipe dream. I miss it more than is polite to share.
Oh bud, I'm sorry to hear that... Camping is a thing too! Or maybe renting a cozy cabin in the woods for a couple of weeks could make you feel less of a longing?
I'm unfortunately quite broke, at the moment, and Idk if I have the spoons to walk to my flavor of woods then start bushcrafting.
