So this past Thursday I got a little gut punch to the system from my aunts - who I'm currently staying with - that they're selling the house. Quick. Fast. Pronto. And we gotta be out in... checks watch two weeks. Came from out of nowhere, really. On the heels of getting laid off in May and a month where I had a week's long stay in the hospital, thinking I had enough time to get back on my feet (just starting to) before things would need to change was wishful, I guess.
There's a plan in place - gonna be Florida bound with my sister, have some interviews lined up, trying to get my unemployment benefits squared away (which got derailed, again, by said hospital stint and is surely gonna be fun to navigate with a change of address) - but just trying HARD to catch a break.
As it stands, due to the suddenness of this change, sis-yeen's help in the transit is likely to be delayed so I'm, regrettably, seeking help as much as I can for the shipping and transport of a few things. I'm trying my best through these peaks and valleys and thought I had a major development decided in my favor for a few months (and, while it did set the foundation for continuing a new career, the way it was ripped from me is still kind of painful) but it is what it is. I hate to be here again but I'm trying to gather enough funds to make this move as painless as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
