WE ARE FORMING THE STRUCTURE OF THE NEW SOCIETY WITHIN THE SHELL OF THE OLD!!!!!!!!

#PREAMBLE OF I. W. W. CONSTITUTION: The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of working people and the few, who make up the emploting class, have all the good things in life. Between these two classes a struggle must go on until the workers of the world organize as a class, take posession of the earth and the machinery of production, and abolish the wage system. We find that the centering of the management of industries into fewer and fewer hands makes the trade untions unable to cope with the ever-growing power of the employing class. The trade unions foster a state of affairs which allows one set of workers to be pitted against another set of workers in the same industry, thereby helping defeat one another in wage wars. Moreover, the trade unions aud the employing class to mislead the workers into the belief that the working class have interests in common with their employers. These conditions can be changed and the interests of the working class upheld only by an organization formed in such a way that all its members in any one industry, or in all industries, if necessary, cease work whenever a strike or lockout is on in any department thereof, thus making an injury to one an injury to all. Instead of the conservative motto, "A fair day's wages for a fair day's work," we must inscribe our banner the revolutionary watchword, "Abolotion of the wage system." Is is the historic mission of the working class to do away with capitalism. The army of production must be organized, not only for the every-day struggle with capitalists, but also to carry on production when capitalism shall have been overthrown. By organizing industrially we are forming the structure of the new society within the shell of the old. Knowing therefore, that such an organization is absolutely necessary for our emancipation we unite under the following constitution.#working class#employing class#capitalism#The Cohost Global Feed (Marxist-Leninist)#iww

And Industrial Worker is still publishing articles. Join the IWW today to take organizer training and gain important new-society-building skills. I might even be one of your training facilitators, you never know! I do that.

We are a labor union, focused on organizing wall to wall and building solidarity, giving maximum control to the workers in each shop of their own organizing demands and tactics. Our training also has proven useful to members doing tenant organizing, debtor organizing, and other forms of activism and work for change. We promote direct action, that is action the workers (or other organizing committees) directly employ in conversation and contention with the employers (or other owning class tyrants). We believe that solidarity, the belief that we should act as though an injury to any of us is as important as an injury to all of us, is the most powerful weapon in the class war, which is waged on us through the literal wage system, the lie that we are owed only a fraction of the value of what we do with our time.

We do not all believe exactly in those words, because we have no ideological purity test. The requirements to join are: no cops, bosses, prison guards, or landlords. You should be interested in organizing in your spaces and you must follow the safer spaces policy. But so long as your actions aren't a threat to our most vulnerable members especially, or anyone else in the union, you're welcome to organize with us.
