Just a brief update.
There was an earthquake that slapped my local area two nights ago. 6.4M, but luckily no harm to my beau 🐦TokuStoat or me. Just my housemate/landlord's mug and glass broke from the quake liberating them from their cabinets. Some of my spice collection fell out, but that's really it for damages.
My landlord/housemate slept through it. 😮
I'm originally from New Jersey. I moved to northern California over 3 years ago, so these quakes are still a novel thing to me. Strongest one I've experienced so far. Last year had one at 6.2M, I think. Still, I think I've been handling them better than my beau. He experienced a 7 before. I don't think I'd look forward to that, either.
