"Iridescence as proof of ___" (detail, 2023)
I've always thought about posting detail shots of my bigger pieces on social media. I'm able to keep a surprising amount of resolution on cohost but the pieces are really intended to be 11x14 or recently 16x20. They can be a bit dense so when I’m looking at a 2 inch version on mobile I gloss over all the bits I love. Almost all my Big, Time Consuming work is horizontal and understandably, but unfortunately, it’s just not the ideal format for Posting. It feels maybe a tiny bit silly to repost the same art but I think I am probably just overthinking social media etiquete.
